Kullu/Manali: Manali Strays, a voluntary organization in Manali, has taken a unique initiative of its kind to further strengthen the sentimental bond between pets, especially dogs, and their owners. On the one hand, the Snow Marathon to be organized on March 10 at Sissu, located on the North Portal of Atal Tunnel, will have runners from every corner of the country and abroad showcasing their dominance, while on the other hand, Snow Tales is also being organized in the same series. In Snow Tales, dogs and their owners are invited to a race. The organizers of the Snow Marathon have shown their generosity by organizing this special dog race. This race will be conducted in one kilometer and two kilometer categories on snow covered surface. The effort has been strengthened by the support of pet care brands associated with animal welfare – Bark Out Loud, Bear Himalayan Chew Sticks and Raymond’s Bake Shop and the organizers are confident that along with runners, animal lovers will also participate in the event. Will definitely be a part.
Participants can register themselves on snowtales.in. Manali Stage has contributed in improving the condition of these countless voiceless animals by running rescue, medical care, vaccination and sterilization campaigns for the stray animals of Manali. This race of Snow Tales is an effort in this direction to rehabilitate the stray dogs of the city.
Kamlesh, co-founder of Manali Stage, said that organizing Snow Tales amidst the beauty of Lahaul will provide a pleasant experience to everyone.
