Amidst a yellow alert in Himachal Pradesh, the Kinnaur peaks, including Rohtang, got fresh snowfall while the other districts of HP remained cloudy throughout the day. Morning and evening temperatures dropped in Himachal Pradesh.
According to IMD the yellow alert for rain will be issued for Thursday even. The weather will remain clear from September 20, 2024. The NH 5 is blocked at Nigulsari in the tribal district of Kinnaur.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 14.4 degrees Celsius in Shimla, 17.9 in Dharamsala, 21.2 in Una, 22.1 in Nahan, 18.6 in Solan, 14.2 in Manali, 19.6 in Kangra, 19.1 in Mandi and 21.4 degrees Celsius in Bilaspur-Chamba. It rained in Mandi, Jubbarhatti, Dharamsala, Shimla, Nahan and Manali on Wednesday night.
