16th District Level Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Sports and Athletic Competition concluded:
The 16th District Level Industrial Training Institute Sports and Cultural Competition concluded today at the Government Industrial Training Institute, Solan, District Solan. Chairman, Jogindra Cooperative Bank Committee Himachal Pradesh, Solan, Shri Mukesh Sharma presided over the closing ceremony. On this occasion, Mukesh Sharma congratulated the players who won various competitions and hoped that all the players will continue their sports journey in the future and bring glory to the country and the state. He said that any task can be made possible with hard work and dedication. Sports teach us to move forward continuously towards achieving our goals by explaining the importance of discipline and hard work. He urged all the students present to inculcate healthy sportsmanship in their lives and give their best performance even in the toughest competition and stay away from addiction.
Chairman Jogindra Central Cooperative Bank Committee Mukesh Sharma said that in the present times, it is important for the youth to remain mentally and physically healthy to get better employment and self-employment. The importance of sports in this direction is well known. He said that students should participate in sports on a regular basis and exercise. He hoped that all the students will apply the knowledge gained through sports in their lives. Furthermore, he also felicitated the winners of various competitions. He congratulated the winners and wished all the players a happy future.
A colourful cultural programme was also presented on this occasion. The principal of the institute and Chairman, District ITI Sports Competition, Solan welcomed the chief guest and gave detailed information about the district level ITI sports competition.
In badminton competition, Government ITI Solan team was victorious and ITI Krishnagarh (Kuthad) team was runner-up. In volleyball competition, ACF Private ITI Dadlaghat team was the winner and the Government ITI Solan team was runner-up. In Kho-Kho competition, Government ITI Solan team won and Government ITI Arki team was runner-up. In Kabaddi competition, Private ITI Joghon team was the winner and Government ITI Solan team was runner-up.
In the basketball competition, the team of Government ITI Solan was the winner and the team of Government ITI Arki was the runner-up. In the march past, Government ITI Solan was the winner and Government ITI Arki was the runner-up. Government ITI Solan won the trophy of the overall champion of the competition. The participants selected in this competition will participate in the upcoming state level ITI sports competition.
