A seven-year-old girl died in this accident, while two other people were seriously injured. The accident happened around 4 am in the morning, when the room was filled with gas due to leaking kitchen gas, and suddenly there was an explosion.
At the time of the incident, the husband and wife, their two daughters and their brother were sleeping in the room. After the blast, two rooms of the house completely collapsed and the girl lost her life after being buried under the debris. The injured in the accident have been admitted to ESI Hospital, Katha.
As soon as the information was received, police and relief work teams reached the spot and pulled out the people buried under the debris. Confirming the accident, ASP Ashok Verma said that preliminary investigation is being conducted in this matter and further action is going on.
