Himachal Pradesh Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Pathania arrived in Sydney (Australia) on Tuesday to attend the 67th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference. He was accompanied by Deputy Speaker Vinay Kumar and Assembly Secretary Yashpal Sharma. Pathania will be on a three-nation study tour to New Zealand, Japan and South Korea after attending the Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference in New South Wales, Sydney till November 8. Kuldeep Pathania reached Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur) by air before Indira Gandhi International Airport last night and left for Sydney after a two hour layover.
The Assembly Speaker will deliver his address at different times on all the three topics selected for discussion during the conference. He will deliver his address on the theme of Parliamentary Framework for Meaningful Engagement with Indigenous Peoples on the first day of the Conference. The Speaker of the Assembly will attend all the sessions to be held during the conference.
