A week-long NSS special camp began on Thursday at the Dr YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni. Around 100 volunteers from the College of Forestry, Nauni are taking part in the camp.
Dean College of Forestry Dr CL Thakur and Dean Students’ Welfare Dr. Rajesh Bhalla was present during the inaugural session of the camp. Two panchayats- Oachghat and Nauni, have been adopted and various activities will be carried out by the volunteers in these panchayats during this camp.
On Friday, on the occasion of National Youth Day, a special screening of the National Youth Day program of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was held for the volunteers. Later students also carried out cleanliness drive on the road from Oachghat to Nauni.
During the camp, the students will be carrying out cleanliness drives on the road from Nauni to Oachghat and in the university campus. An anti-drugs rally and trekking cum cleanliness drive at Dharo-ki-dhar fort will also be a part of the camp.

Special NSS camp organized in Nauni University
A week long special camp of NSS started from Thursday at Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar Horticulture and Forestry University , Nauni . Forestry College in the camp , near Nauni 100 volunteers are participating.
Dean College of Forestry Dr. CL Thakur and Dean Student Welfare Dr. Rajesh Bhalla were present during the inaugural session of the camp. Various activities will be carried out by volunteers during this camp in Ochchghat and Nauni Panchayats .
On the occasion of National Youth Day on Friday, a special screening of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s National Youth Day program was organized for volunteers . After this, the students also conducted a cleaning campaign on the road from Ochchghat to Nauni. During this camp, students will conduct cleanliness drive from Nauni to Ochchghat on the roads and university campus. A rally to bring awareness about the ill effects of drug abuse and a trekking cum cleanliness drive at Dharho-ki-Dhar Fort will also be part of the camp.
