Students of St. Thomas’ School celebrated the Independence Day with great enthusiasm .
The program commenced with flag hoisting were Mrs. Sushma Kuthiala, Ward No. 14 Ram Bazaar Councilor was present as the chief guest. Students from class nursery to class 12th enjoyed the cultural program presented during the celebration.
Students showed excellent skills while showcasing love for their country in form of a song, dance, poem recitation and a short play.
The Principal of the school, Mrs. Vidhupriya Chakravarty and Vice Principal Mrs. Sharon Nanda welcomed and honored the chief guest.
Chief guest Councilor Mrs. Sushma Kuthiala in her address explained the importance of independence and inspired the youth to contribute in nation building. She also highlighted the importance of healthy lifestyle and ill effects of drugs.
The Principal of the school Mrs. Vidhupriya Chakravarty wished everyone a Happy Independence Day and appreciated the presentations of the children. She inspired student to become a responsible citizen and help in nation building.
The day concluded with National Anthem leaving everyone in high spirit.
