Groundbreaking ceremony for two drinking water projects
The Education Minister performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the enhancement of the lift drinking water scheme from Rohtan Nalu to Rohtan village. The construction of the scheme will cost approximately ₹2.2 million (approximately ₹2.2 million). This scheme will benefit approximately 450 residents of Rohtan village. Community hall to be built in Rohtan
The Education Minister announced that a community hall will be constructed in Rohtan village to benefit the villagers. He added that funding for the community hall will be allocated in the next financial year. He added that construction work on approximately 15 to 20 community halls is underway in the constituency, providing benefits to the people of the area.

He said that this constituency had received the highest amount under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana Phase-3.
Speeding up development work
The Education Minister stated that every effort is being made to strengthen all basic facilities in the Assembly constituency. In light of this, every effort is being made to meet all demands in the area.
He said that the recent disaster has caused significant damage to roads, but despite this, it has been our priority to restore all roads promptly to ensure the successful completion of the apple season. He said that approximately 27.8 million boxes of apples reached the markets in the state this year. The state government has also purchased 99,000 metric tons of apples under the MIS.
Strengthening the education sector
The Education Minister said that the state government is making every effort to strengthen education in the state, due to which the literacy rate in the country, including Goa, has reached 99.30 percent, which was approximately 7 percent in 1947. He said that under the leadership of Dr. Yashwant Parmar, the basic infrastructure in the field of education was established and today the field of education is being expanded with the same vision.
Significant development work is underway in the area
The Education Minister stated that various development projects are underway in the constituency, including the construction of the Teacher Training Institute, Jubbal, at a cost of approximately 17 crore rupees. A playground has been constructed in Saraswati Nagar for 1 crore rupees. Seven postgraduate courses have been launched at Saraswati Nagar College. Approval has been granted for the construction of an auditorium, a BBA block, and an indoor stadium, and construction will commence soon. Approval has also been granted for a Kendriya Vidyalaya in Kotkhai, and further developments are underway. He added that the construction of a 38 crore rupee drinking water lift from the Pabbar River is in its final stages and will soon be dedicated to the public.
