Arki MLA Sanjay Awasthi said the state government is committed to strengthening infrastructure in the road, education, and health sectors, and to boosting the rural economy through self-help groups. Sanjay Awasthi was addressing the crowd after dedicating a multipurpose building in Darlaghat, Arki Assembly constituency, today.
The MLA stated that development is a continuous process and the state government is working to accelerate it. He added that women and youth play a significant role in the state’s development. The state government is committed to empowering women and providing employment and self-employment opportunities to youth.
He stated that women’s empowerment is a priority for the state government. He added that soon, locations will be identified and shops will be constructed in the Arki assembly constituency to sell the products of self-help groups. This will not only ensure fair prices for the women in self-help groups but will also promote their products.
Sanjay Awasthi said that the minimum support price of ginger will be fixed soon in Arki assembly constituency so that farmers can get benefits on a large scale.
The MLA stated that the development of the Arki Assembly constituency is his priority. He added that an amount of ₹25 crore has been allocated in the first phase under the District Mining Foundation Trust for the development of the Arki Assembly constituency. Various development works are underway through this funding.
Sanjay Awasthi said that today’s children are tomorrow’s future, and a better education infrastructure is essential for their all-round development. With this in mind, under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, Rajiv Gandhi Day Boarding Schools are being established in every assembly constituency of the state. He said that in the Arki assembly constituency, schools in Arki, Darlaghat, and Kunihar will also be implementing the Central Board of Secondary Education curriculum from the next academic session. This will enable children to progress with the country’s education.
