ESI Hospital Parwanoo and the hospital under construction at Kathed were inspected
Health and Family Welfare, Social Justice and Empowerment and Sainik Welfare Minister Colonel Dr. Dhaniram Shandil said that the efforts of the state government to further strengthen the health services in the state and provide modern medical facilities to the people are succeeding. Dr. Shandil was having informal discussions with the officials and others present after inspecting the ESI hospital located at Parwanoo in Solan today.
The Health Minister then inspected the under construction multi-purpose hospital, third level trauma centre and mother and child ward at Kathed in Solan and issued appropriate guidelines to the officials.
Dr. Shandil said that special emphasis is being laid on the health care and safety of the people in the state. He said that the state government is committed to provide modern specialist services in medical institutes and medical colleges to provide better medical facilities to every citizen of the state.
The Health Minister said that with the objective of providing better health facilities to the people in the entire state, an ideal health institution is being developed in every assembly constituency. This will not only provide better health services to the people at their doorsteps but will also save their time.
He said that in ESI Hospital Parwanoo, along with the workers of Himachal Pradesh and workers working here and workers from other states also come for treatment. He said that all the facilities in this hospital will be improved further.
He said that efforts will be made to install lift for patients in ESI Parwanoo. He also assured to fill nursing, dental and other vacant posts in the hospital soon.
On this occasion, Dr. Shandil met the part-time and outsourced based employees of various categories in the hospital. He listened to their problems and assured them of their quick solution. He also enquired about the well-being of the patients on this occasion.
He then inspected Kathed Hospital in Solan, the hospital’s third level trauma centre and the maternal and child wing. He directed the concerned officials to complete the construction work soon and pay special attention to quality. He said that this multipurpose hospital under construction will become a lifeline for tourists in the entire area.
Councillor of Municipal Corporation Solan Sardar Singh Thakur, Dr. Jyoti Kapil, former President and Councillor of Municipal Council Parwanoo Nisha Sharma, Director of Health and Family Welfare Department Dr. Gopal Garg, Sub Divisional Magistrate Solan Dr. Poonam Bansal, Sub Divisional Magistrate Kasauli Mahendra Pratap Singh, Assistant Commissioner Protocol Parwanoo Shaifali Sharma, Chief Medical Officer Solan Ajay Pathak, Medical Superintendent of ESI Parwanoo, along with senior workers of Congress Party, officers and doctors of various departments were present on this occasion.
