Review of Chief Minister Sukh Ashray Yojana and other schemes in block level committee meeting
Hamirpur 30 August. The review meeting of the Block Level Committee of Hamirpur, constituted for the implementation of various welfare schemes of the Women and Child Development Department, was organized on Wednesday under the chairmanship of SDM Manish Kumar Soni. During the meeting, the state government’s ambitious scheme Mukhyamantri Sukh Ashray Yojana and other schemes were widely discussed and the first quarter of this financial year was reviewed.
On this occasion, the SDM said that the Chief Minister is going to provide huge support to the orphan children of the state through the Sukh Ashray Yojana. The state government has now decided to benefit such children till the age of 27 years. Under the Mukhyamantri Sukh Ashray Yojana, the state government will provide financial assistance to these children for their upbringing, higher education and vocational education, as well as for marriage, house construction and startup, so that they too can lead a respectable life. They will also be given Rs 2 lakh as marriage grant and Rs 3 lakh as house grant amount in addition to 3 Biswa land for house construction.
He said that under Child Development Project Hamirpur, 4585 children in the age group of 6 months to 6 years and 847 pregnant and lactating women are being given nutritional supplements through 183 Anganwadi centers. While reviewing the construction of various Anganwadi buildings, the SDM said that 5 buildings are being constructed through MNREGA convergence, while the process of land transfer is underway for 3 other buildings. Clean drinking water and other facilities in Anganwadi centers were also widely discussed in the meeting.
The SDM said that various schemes are being run under Mission Shakti for the empowerment of women and protection of their rights. He informed that a total of 261 women and children were benefited in Hamirpur block in the first quarter of this financial year under Beti Hai Anmol Yojana, Mukhyamantri Kanyadan Yojana, Mother Teresa Yojana, Mukhyamantri Shagun Yojana, Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao Yojana and Mahila Swarozgar Yojana. Has gone. He said that as a result of various women empowerment schemes, the child sex ratio of Hamirpur block has reached 937.
During the meeting, Child Development Project Officer Balveer Singh Birla presented the detailed description of all the schemes of the department. Officials of Health, Education, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj and other departments and non-official members of the committee participated in the meeting.
