Shimla, BJP state media in-charge Karna Nanda said that state organization general secretary Siddharthan participated in the plantation program near Guga Madi temple Sanjauli in Shimla. A total of more than 51 plants were planted in the program, and planters were also appointed for these plants who will take care of them.
Nanda said that this program was organized under the national and state level program “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam”. At the state level, Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam program is going on in all 17 districts and till now 45402 trees have been planted at 2708 places. 5784 plant caretakers have been appointed to take care of these trees, till now 4570 public representatives and 28133 workers have participated in this program.
Till now, 3860 plants have been planted in Shimla district, 3728 in Solan district, 2735 in Mahasu district, 2901 in Sirmaur district, 2830 in Hamirpur, 1625 in Una, 3210 in Sundernagar, 6385 in Kullu, 3560 in Chamba, 8250 in Nurpur, 3212 in Palampur and 203 in Kinnaur.
Nanda said that this is the flagship programme of the Bharatiya Janata Party in which BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda, Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur, BJP State President Dr Rajiv Bindal, former Union Minister Anurag Thakur, all MPs, MLAs and state, district and division level officials have participated enthusiastically.
District President Keshav Chauhan, Mandal President Pinku Chauhan, candidate Sanjay Sood, General Secretary Satprakash Manak, Kimi Sood, Shubh Mahajan, Gaurav Sood, Sanjeev Sood Johnny, Kalpi Sharma, Vikas Thapata, Aarti Chauhan, Gaurav Sood, Bhanu, members of the temple trust were present in the program.
