Four passengers were injured when stones fell from a hill on an HRTC bus going towards Shimla from Jhadasli Jhagatan in Shimla district. It was fortunate that the bus did not go out of control due to the falling of stones, otherwise a major accident could have happened. The injured are undergoing treatment at Rohru Hospital. According to the information, the bus that left from Jhadsali for Shimla on Monday morning was standing near Bholada drain at around 9 o’clock due to debris lying on the road. There were about 12 passengers inside the bus. During this time, a stone fell from the hill and broke the window glass of the bus and entered inside.
Due to this, four passengers sitting in the bus were injured. The accident created panic among the passengers. After the information, the police team reached the spot and started investigating the accident. People said that if a stone had fallen on the moving bus, it could have caused a major accident due to the driver losing control. The injured have been identified as Rameshwari wife Gyan Singh resident of village Bholad, Vikesh Sharma son Om Prakash resident of village Galut Salogra district Solan, Kamal son Lal Bahadur and Bhim son Nildhar resident of Nepal. DSP Rohru Ravindra Negi said that the condition of all the injured is out of danger. Police have registered a case and started investigation.
