A newly constructed hostel with all the necessary facilities and technology, named Student Village-1, was inaugurated at Shoolini University by Chancellor Prof. PK Khosla and Pro Chancellor Mr. Vishal Anand on Tuesday.
The new hostel contains a dining hall with a capacity of 50 seats and a total of 26 rooms. Students will have access to a private balcony, a sports court on the third floor was also added, separate WIFI with storage space, and electric heaters in each room during the winter.
Chancellor Prof. PK Khosla said the students’ comfort is our priority and we are working on more such projects.
Shoolini University Pro-Chancelloer Mr. Vishal Anand said, “We have inaugurated student village-1. There are more such projects in the pipeline which will be completed soon. He further said that providing a homely atmosphere to the students is our main concern”. The new amenities will allow students to be more creative without worrying about resources, added Mr. Anand.
The administration has made progress in reducing drug and alcohol use by putting smoke detectors in each room. The students who are staying on-site will also have access to open areas in a side building for yoga and other recreational activities.
Mr. Rakesh Sharma, Work Manager, Mr. Kanwar Poshta, Site Supervisor, Mr. Saurabh Sharma, Site Engineer, and Project Head Col. Kulwant Singh Nagial will be in charge of Students Village-1.
