Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla exhorted the youth to make valuable contribution in nation building in the Amrit Kaal with the vision of ‘Ek Bharat-Shrestha Bharat’. He was addressing the Kashmiri students participating in the “Cultural Study Tour 2024” organized by the Media Students Association and Indian Media Centre-Haryana under the joint aegis of Panchanaad Research Institute at Raj Bhavan today. Lady Governor Smt. Janaki Shukla was also present on the occasion.
Expressing contentment over the initiative of cultural study trip organized by the association, he said that from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, India was one and we should participate in each other’s happiness and sorrows, which was also the sole objective of this trip. He said that every youth should maintain the unity and integrity of the country and this feeling is further strengthened by such cultural study trips.
Shri Shukla expressed happiness that the students of Kashmir were carrying the message of fraternity through the study tour so that the people of Jammu and Kashmir could realize that the entire country stands with them. He added that a large number of girl students from Kashmir were in this tour, which shows how much change is there in Kashmir now. He added that Kashmir has a rich cultural heritage and Himachal and Jammu and Kashmir were also famous from tourism point of view and this occasion also marks an important and enriching experience for all of us, as this journey connects the beautiful cultures of Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. “Our diversity is our strength, and through this cultural exchange, it gives us the opportunity to deepen our understanding of each other, fostering a sense of unity beyond geographical boundaries”.
The Governor said that during this Amrit Kaal every person should participate and contribute for development of India.
On the occasion, the Governor also honored team leader Rabia Wani, Burhan Bhat, group leader Zeenat from Pakhtun community and Meenakshi, General Secretary of Media Students Association Haryana.
Earlier, Prof. Manu Sood, Prant coordinator, Panchnaad Research Institute welcomed the Governor.
