Solan, April 10, 2025 — A group of 50 students from BA LL.B 10th and 6th semesters of LR Institute of Legal Studies, Solan, undertook an educational visit to the State Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) in Junga today. The visit was organized as part of their practical legal training and to provide exposure to the role of forensic science in criminal investigations.
Accompanied by faculty members, the students received an insightful tour of various divisions of the laboratory, including Ballistics, Toxicology, Serology, DNA Analysis, and Cyber Forensics. Experts from the lab demonstrated modern forensic techniques and explained the crucial role that scientific evidence plays in the criminal justice system.
The visit aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and its real-world application, helping students understand the intersection between law and science. Faculty members expressed their appreciation to the FSL team for their warm hospitality and informative presentations.
This hands-on experience is expected to significantly enhance the academic and professional growth of these budding legal professionals.
