Chief Parliamentary Secretary (Public Works, Health & Family Welfare and Information & Public Relations Department) Sanjay Awasthi said that in this era of competition, it is necessary to acquire knowledge in real sense to successfully overcome the future challenges. Sanjay Awasthi was addressing a youth festival function, College Fest (Srijan) organized at Government College of Excellence, Arki in Solan district today.
Sanjay Awasthi had earlier unveiled the statue of Mother Saraswati in the college campus. He also inaugurated the Digital Gate and Cyber Café.
The Chief Parliamentary Secretary also launched the 5G Networking Technician Skill Course.
Chief Parliamentary Secretary said that the present era is the era of competition and to achieve success in such a time, it is necessary to have correct information along with good marks. He said that only then can students hope for a bright future. He urged the students not to be limited to studies but to have knowledge of every field to convert future challenges into opportunities. He said that such programs by educational institutions bring out the hidden talents of the students so that they can achieve their goals by being top in every field. He expressed hope that other colleges will also give priority to organizing such programs in the coming times for the all-round development of the students.
He said that today’s youth are responsible citizens of tomorrow and we all should ensure that along with education, the youth also get information about moral values and values.
Sanjay Awasthi said that efforts will be made to start fine arts classes in Government College of Excellence, Arki. He announced provision of budget as per the draft for expansion of grounds and construction of auditorium in the college. He also assured to fill the vacant post of Botany professor in the college.
The Chief Parliamentary Secretary announced to give Rs 21 thousand to the organizing committee from his discretionary fund.
On this occasion, Sanjay Awasthi also observed the food stalls, handmade products, sketch paintings etc. set up by the students and showed keen interest in all these. He appreciated the skills of the students.
Colorful cultural programs were also presented by the students on this occasion.
Sanjay Awasthi also listened to the problems of the local people on this occasion.
