Two-day technical innovation and cultural program on Engineer’s Day at Technical University
Hamirpur. Engineer’s Day was celebrated at Himachal Pradesh Technical University Hamirpur. The two-day program under “Navonmesh 2.0” at the Technical University will be a confluence of technical innovation and cultural talent, in which more than 400 students participated and demonstrated their excellence. Various types of competitions were organized on Engineer’s Day by the Department of Computer Science Engineering.
The theme of this year’s Engineer’s Day was “Deep Tech and Engineering Excellence: Advancing India’s TechEd”. The program was organized on topics centered on this theme, in which students from all departments apart from engineering participated. On the first day, various competitions were organized to test the knowledge, skills, and creativity of the students, including Marathon of Skills, Arena of Fates, Mind Duel, Collage Making, Digital Poster Making, Ad/Real Making, Video Editing, and Graphic Editing. In these activities, the students celebrated their technical understanding and innovation. Along with this, e-sports competitions were also organized, in which the students also performed brilliantly in the field of gaming. Cultural activities will be organized on the second day, which include dance, singing, drama, and other cultural presentations. At the end, certificates and prizes were given to all the participants who performed well in technical and cultural competitions. Technical University Vice Chancellor Prof. Rajendra Verma, Dean of Academics Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Registrar Kamal Dev Singh Kanwar congratulated the students on Engineer’s Day and encouraged them to participate enthusiastically in such activities.
