*Power Corporation and KCC Bank have become the biggest hubs of corruption*

Senior BJP spokesperson and former Sujanpur MLA Rajendra Rana launched a direct attack on the Sukhu government, stating that the Congress government in Himachal Pradesh has proven to be the most corrupt, deceitful, and unsuccessful government ever. He said that under Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu’s leadership, a factory of corruption and nepotism has sprung up in the state, and the public is bearing the brunt of it. The Kangra Central Cooperative Bank and the Power Corporation have become major hubs of corruption, with new revelations of corruption and scams being reported daily.
In a statement issued here today, Rajendra Rana sarcastically said that while the Modi government has provided relief to millions of countrymen by reducing GST on many essential commodities, the Congress government in Himachal Pradesh has directly robbed the common people of their pockets by increasing the price of cement. Instead of providing relief to the public, this government is only benevolent to its friends and increasing the hardships of the common people.
Rajendra Rana said that the Congress government has treated the Kangra Central Cooperative Bank as its personal property, and in the Dehra Assembly by-election, the Sukhu government even plundered the public treasury, flouting democracy. He alleged that the Chief Minister distributed ₹50,000 each to 67 women’s groups through the Kangra Cooperative Bank to garner votes for his wife.
This is not only corruption but also murder of democracy.
He said that the government is neither admitting it to be a scam nor denying it. This clearly shows that the Sukhu government has legalized corruption.
Rajendra Rana made a serious allegation, saying that at the behest of Chief Minister Sukhu, a hotel worth ₹44 crore was sold for a mere ₹24 crore. He said that this was a direct loot and robbery of the state treasury, which clearly reflects the government’s intentions.
Attacking the government over the recent natural disaster, Rana said that thousands of homes were destroyed and families were devastated, but the government turned a blind eye. He said this was due to illegal logging and the protection of the forest mafia. The felled trees and sleepers floating in the rivers are proof that the government either failed or protected the mafia itself.
Rajendra Rana made serious allegations, stating that scams worth crores and billions of rupees are openly taking place within the Power Corporation. When an honest officer tried to expose the truth, he was murdered. He said that this government has become deadly for those who speak the truth.
Rajendra Rana said that Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu’s government has not only betrayed the public’s trust but has also pushed Himachal into poverty and ruin. He said that this government has proven to be the biggest curse for the state.
Rana quipped, “The public wants relief, but the government is finding relief in corruption. The people of Himachal are watching and will surely hold them accountable in the future.”
