Shimla, BJP State President Dr. Rajiv Bindal said that the present Congress government of the state is continuously busy in closing institutions for the last 9 months. In a short span of 9 months, more than 1500 institutions opened by the previous Bharatiya Janata Party government have been closed. The work of closing schools is still going on. Sometimes in the name of numbers, sometimes in the name of area, sometimes on political grounds, the government is busy closing schools. Despite huge opposition from the public, the government is not turning a deaf ear and is now ready to close the universities. Removing many colleges from Sardar Patel University, Mandi is a step in this series. Ultimately the aim of the Sukhwinder Sukhu government is to close Sarkar Patel University Mandi.
BJP alleged that since this university was opened by the previous Jairam government of the state, a conspiracy is being hatched to close this university, which will not be tolerated at any cost.
The brutality with which the public has been cheated by closing the institutions, PHC, CHC, Civil Hospitals, SDO, XEN offices, Patwar Circle, Naib Tehsildar, SDM offices opened in different parts of the state, is a shame to the government and the Congress party. It will be very expensive.
