Director Mrs. Sunita John Auckland House School passed away today at Chandigarh.
She was born on 2nd November, 1959 in Palampur (HP). She joined Auckland house School as a teacher on 12th March 1985. John became the Principal on 7th December 1998 and then the Director Principal in 2012 and Director on 1st December 2023.
John served the Diocesan Education Association of the Diocese of Amritsar,Church of North India as an Office Bearer. John is survived by her husband Mr. Michael A John (Founding Principal of Auckland House School for Boys), son, Mr. Reuben T John (Principal, AHS for boys ), Daughter – Swati Cheryl John (Designer – Bangalore), Daughter-in-Law-Chriselle Fernandes (Teacher – BCS), and grandson – Ezra Michael John.
During the tenure of John’s service, the AHS Society reached greater heights with the establishment of the AHS for Boys School in 2008.
On behalf of the Boards of Governors and the whole Diocesan family, school authorities has given deepest condolences to the family in this time of great sorrow. It is an irreparable loss to the Auckland House School Society and the Diocese of Amritsar .
