In these, toothpaste, soybean oil, salt, honey, glucose, tea leaves, pulses, chyavprash, shampoo, flour, semolina, mustard oil, almond oil and other items will also be available. People will get relief from this. For this, both Tata and Dabur companies have tied up with the government.
As per the contract, the companies have also started sending consignments to the godowns in Solan district. With this, people will get Dabur and Tata products along with cheap ration in ration depots in the month of August. Different companies will get different discounts on different goods. In the first phase, the goods will be available only in a few depots. Goods of well-known companies will also be easily available to people in every depot from the month of September.
There are more than 5,000 depots in the state. 19.50 lakh consumers depend on these depots. All these consumers buy cheap ration available in ration depots. Now these people will also start getting the products of renowned companies. This will give more relief to the people. Till now the products of reputed companies were not available in the depots.
Consumers will now get Tata and Dabur products at low prices at fair price shops. According to the guidelines of the government, the goods of both the companies will be available at the fair price shops.
