Hamirpur. The first phase of counselling for B Pharmacy (Direct Entry) started from Friday at Himachal Pradesh Technical University Hamirpur. On the first day, counselling of the main category and sub-category candidates of SC, ST and OBC category was done, in which 142 candidates of the above category were allotted seats on the basis of merit of Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test. Prof Vinay Kumar, Chairman of the Counselling Committee of B Pharmacy, said that the candidates who have been allotted seats on the first day will have to report to the concerned educational institution by July 29. The seat of the candidate who does not report to the concerned educational institution by the due date will be considered vacant. On July 26, counselling of candidates of general category and sub-category of general category including All India quota will be done. Apart from this, the first phase of counselling of BCA, BBA and BHMCT and BSc HMCT will be conducted on July 26 itself. Counselling of BCA, BBA and BHMCT and BSc HMCT will be done in the same educational institutions where the above courses are run.
