The first phase of counselling of MBA Tourism, MSc Physics, MA/MSc Yoga and Environmental Science will be held on Monday at Himachal Pradesh Technical University Hamirpur. The counselling of candidates of all categories who have applied for admission in the above subjects will be held on a single day at the Technical University campus. The vacant seats in the first phase counselling in the above subjects will be filled through spot round counselling on 31st July. On the other hand, the first phase counselling of B.Tech (Direct Entry) candidates on the basis of JEE Main started on Sunday at Himachal Pradesh Technical University Hamirpur.
On the first day, 154 candidates were allotted seats in the counselling of OBC and SC main category and sub category. Prof. Rajiv Khanduja, Chairman of B.Tech Counselling Committee, said that the candidates who were allotted seats will have to report to the concerned educational institution by 31st July. On July 28, counselling for ST main category and other categories including EWS will be held, while on July 29, counselling for general category and Beti Hai Anmol and All India quota candidates will be held.
