Shallinder Singh, Director (Personnel), THDC India Limited, inaugurated a spectacular photo exhibition at Triveni Ghat, Rishikesh, paying tribute to the late renowned photographer of international fame, Late Rakesh Sahai. The event was also graced by Smt. Kushum Kandwal, Chairperson of the Uttarakhand State Commission for Women, Manoj Rangad, the dedicated organizer behind this creative initiative.
In the exhibition, the works of many national acclaimed level photographers, on nature and various contemporary subjects, were displayed, unfolding a vibrant and befitting homage to the artistic legacy of Sh. Rakesh Sahai.
R. K. Shallinder Singh, Director(Personnel), THDCIL, after having overview of the works of renowned photographers in the exhibition stated that the works of such photographers have the potential to touch human thought with indelible print which a book of thousand pages may not impact. The photographs not only displayed the magnificent beauty of Nature but also aimed to create greater sensitivity towards Environment and surroundings.
The event was strategically timed, aligning with the New Year, to inspire and motivate photographers across the Nation.
