Pankaj Agarwal, Secretary(Power), MOP (GOI), administered the Swachhata Pakhwada pledge at Tehri, during his visit to THDC, 2400 MW Tehri Hydro Complex. Agarwal reaffirming the commitment of a Clean and Green India, endorsed the Vision of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi of countrywide Swachhata Pakhwada Initiative.
R. K. Vishnoi, Chairman and Managing Director of THDCIL, highlighted that in line with directives from the Central Ministry, THDCIL is actively participating in Swachhata Pakhwada, themed ” Swachhata hi Seva Pakhwada-2023,” in all its Offices and Project locations from October 1, 2023, to October 31, 2023, in commemoration of Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary. To demonstrate the commitment of THDC towards this initiative, THDCIL organized a Cleanliness Drive at the Tehri Project, which was actively participated by Sh. Pankaj Agarwal, Secretary (Power), Sh. J. Behera, Director(Finance), Shallinder Singh, Director(Personnel), Sh. Bhupender Gupta, Director(Technical), along with Senior Officers and local residents of Bhagirathipuram Tehri who performed Shramdaan for cleanliness drive at shopping complex at Bhagirathipuram, Tehri.
