Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Social Justice and Empowerment, and Soldiers’ Welfare, Colonel Dr. Dhaniram Shandil, said that Lord Shri Ram is a source of inspiration for the entire world and we should all learn from his life and move forward. Dr. Shandil was addressing a Ramlila celebration held in Solan last night.
The Health Minister stated that Lord Shri Ram’s life is inspiring to all of us. He said that we can learn how to live life properly from the embodiment of Maryada Purushottam, Lord Shri Ram. He said that Lord Shri Ram inspired everyone at every step with his life and proved that success can only be achieved by following the path of truth.
Dr. Shandil announced to give Rs 31 thousand from his discretionary fund to Shri Jagdamba Ramleela Mandal.
On this occasion, Mayor of Municipal Corporation Solan Usha Sharma, councillors, Chairman of Joginder Central Cooperative Bank Mukesh Sharma, member of Board of Directors of State Food and Civil Supplies Corporation Jatin Sahni, member of Patient Welfare Committee Vineesh Dhir, Congress leader Punit Narang, Naveen Verma, Ankush Sood, Ravindra Kanwar Pal, Director of Shri Jagdamba Ramlila Mandal Harish Marwah, Pradhan Dhamendra Thakur and other members, District Medical Officer Dr. Amit Ranjan Talwar, Tehsildar Solan Rajiv Ranta along with other dignitaries and a large number of spectators were present.
