Unidentified thieves broke the locks of Primary School Bhatwara and Anganwadi Center Bhatwara and stole goods worth thousands of rupees, including gas cylinders. Since there was a two-day holiday in school, nothing could be said about when this theft took place. In this regard, the school management has lodged a complaint with the Police according to the information, when the school’s multitask worker Sapna Devi came to school around 8.15 am on Monday, she saw that the doors of the school kitchen and the adjoining room were open and the locks were broken.
On this he informed the school headmaster Kiran Sood over telephone. As soon as the information was received, Headmaster Kiran Sood also reached the school and when he looked inside the rooms, he found that gas cylinder, gas stove, two carpets, 50 kg rice and two cookers were missing from the kitchen. When I saw the second room, the LED and wireless speakers installed in it were also missing. There is an Anganwadi center building along with this school.
The thieves broke the locks of the Anganwadi center and stole two kitchen cookers and eating utensils along with two 10-kg bags of refined porridge and 10 kg each. The school and Anganwadi center informed the Lambagaon police in this regard. As soon as Lambagaon police received information in the morning, they reached the spot and started investigation. It is noteworthy that this is the fifth theft in this school in the last seven years. No trace of the thieves has been found yet. Confirming the matter, Lambagaon Police SHO Ashok Kumar said that the police had reached the spot as soon as the information was received. Police have registered the case and started investigation. He said that the thieves will soon be behind the bars
