Thieves targeted a hardware store at midnight. They broke into the store and stole goods worth approximately 20 lakh rupees. The store is located in a residential building, but the thieves carried out the robbery with ease. Upon learning of this incident, the police launched a search for the thieves.
This theft occurred in the Jhakri police station area of Rampur subdivision. In a complaint filed with the police, local resident Bhag Chand stated that on the night of November 11th, an unknown person broke into his ground-floor store and stole a large quantity of goods.
According to the complaint, the stolen items included 9 welding machines, 2 40-horsepower motors, 20 rolls of wire mesh, 4 shotcrete mesh, 2 joist plates, a crusher bucket, 15 drilling rods, 10 MS sheets, 12 concrete pipes, and 5 6-inch MS pipes. The stolen items include pipes (each 15 feet), two furnaces or stoves, 20 defer rods, approximately 20 kg of copper coil, one pan, one tire puncture machine, five dumper tire jacks, five jack hammers, two check blocks, four angles, one iron cutting machine, three Hilti machines, one water pump (1 HP), 300 pairs of clamp couplings, and approximately 300 kg of scrap iron. The total value of the stolen goods is estimated at approximately 20 lakh rupees. Upon discovering the incident, the victim immediately informed the police. The Jhakri police station has registered a case under sections 331(4) and 305 of the Indian Penal Code and has initiated an investigation.
The police team inspected the scene and collected evidence. Footage from nearby CCTV cameras is also being examined to identify the accused. At present, no clue has been found about the thieves, but the police say they will be apprehended soon.
