The cultural team affiliated to the Information and Public Relations Department provided information about the schemes, policies and programmes being implemented by the state government through songs, music and street plays in various areas of Solan district.
Artists of Him Cultural Group Mamlig today gave detailed information to the villagers about the schemes being implemented by the government through songs and music in Gram Panchayat Mamlig and Sayri of Kandaghat development block.
The artists raised awareness among villagers about the Rajiv Gandhi Start-Up Scheme, implemented by the state government. The state government launched the Rajiv Gandhi Self-Employment Start-Up Scheme, a ₹680 crore initiative to encourage educated unemployed youth toward self-employment. Under this scheme, youth are being provided a 50 percent subsidy for purchasing e-taxis.
Villagers were informed about the increase in the minimum support price of cow milk from Rs. 45 to Rs. 51 per liter and the increase in the price of buffalo milk from Rs. 55 to Rs. 61 per liter. They were told that this government decision is bringing about an unprecedented improvement in the economic condition of cattle farmers.
Information about other schemes was also given to the villagers.
Artists from Shiv Shakti Kala Manch today informed villagers in Banoh Khardahatti Gram Panchayat, Kunihar Development Block, about the Golden Jubilee Shelter Scheme, implemented by the state government. Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided to poor and needy individuals for home construction. This scheme includes disaster-affected individuals, widows, divorcees, and the disabled.
Through music, songs and street plays, the artists made the villagers aware about the government schemes.
