As per the instructions of the State Election Commission, the timetable has been released for the by-election of ward number 02 Miyanpur of Nagar Panchayat in Arki of Solan district. This information was given by Election Officer and Sub Divisional Officer Solan Kavita Thakur.
He said that for Ward No. 02 (Miyapur) of Nagar Panchayat Arki, candidates or their proposers can submit nomination papers from October 18 to October 20, 2023, at the Tehsil Office Arki from 11.00 am to 03.00 pm. He said that the nomination form can be obtained from Tehsil Office Arki.
Kavita Thakur said that the sorting of nomination papers will be done on October 21, 2023. He said that nomination papers can be withdrawn as per the prescribed rules till 03.00 pm on October 25, 2023. He said that symbols will be allotted to the candidates after the stipulated time for withdrawal of nomination papers.
The election officer said that in case elections are held, voting will be held from 08.00 am to 04.00 pm on November 05, 2023.
