On the Kiratpur-Manali four-lane, toll tax is again being collected at Takoli and Dohlunala. This will make the journey more expensive. Both the barriers were closed after the natural disaster in 2023. Now, after about 16 months, it is ready to start at the end of this month. It is clear that the National Highways Authority of India will charge less toll tax here than before. The authorities of the authority will determine the toll tax according to the condition of the Four-lane repair.
Earlier, Rs 110 was charged for LMV at Takoli and Rs 80 for LMV at Dohlunala, but the disaster in 2023 devastated the four-lane from Pandoh to Manali. After this, the NHAI had stopped collecting toll tax on both the barriers. NHAI Project Director Varun Chari said that the Takkoli toll started on June 16, 2023, and was closed on August 22. Now it is ready to start this month.
