Solan
District Magistrate Solan Manmohan Sharma has issued traffic related orders in Solan city using powers vested under section 115 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 in view of the visit of All India Congress Committee General Secretary (with Z Plus security) Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on June 30, 2024.
According to the orders, there will be a ban on the movement of vehicles from Chambaghat to Saproon Chowk and from Old Deputy Commissioner’s Office to Hospital Chowk Kotla Nala from 12.00 noon to 04.00 pm on June 30, 2024. This order will not apply to polling duty and emergency vehicles.
Apart from this, in view of this visit, the District Magistrate has also issued orders to keep all the schools in Solan city within the limits of Municipal Corporation Solan closed from 11.30 am on June 30.
