Vehicle traffic on the Mandi-Kullu National Highway has resumed. On Saturday morning, one-way traffic was allowed on this road. Traffic is being managed extremely cautiously since police have reported that small landslides are still occurring in several areas of the route. The police have created a unique schedule for the cars with the safety of the passengers in mind. All cars will be permitted to arrive and depart in accordance with this schedule.
Traffic time table for Mandi-Kullu Highway
To go from Mandi to Kullu:
From 8 am to 10 am
From 12 noon to 2 pm
From 4 pm to 6 pm
10 am to 12 noon
2 pm to 4 pm
Kamand-Katola alternative route for small vehicles
A separate time-table has been fixed for those who are using the Kamand-Katola alternative route with small vehicles.
To go from Mandi to Kullu:
10 am to 12 noon
2 pm to 4 pm
6 pm to 8 pm
To come from Kullu to Mandi:
12 noon to 2 pm
4 pm to 6 pm
Important advice for travelers
The officials have appealed to the people to follow only the fixed time for their journey. They also informed us that this timetable can be changed anytime due to bad weather and landslides. Therefore, travelers have been advised to get the latest information from the police or administration before starting the journey. Everyone has been requested to stay safe and follow the rules.
