Officers and employees of Himachal Pradesh Secretariat Shimla were imparted training on working in e-office system in seven sessions from March 17 to March 25, 2023. Secretary, Information Technology Abhishek Jain while addressing the officers and employees at the Secretariat today said that about 700 people have been provided this refresher training and the rest will be provided soon. He said that Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu had announced to fully implement e-office system in Himachal Pradesh Secretariat by July 1, 2023.
Abhishek Jain while encouraging the employees of the Secretariat to work in the e-office system said that this would not only facilitate the work but would also help in securing the digitized records. He also instructed all the officers and employees to work in the e-office.
Director, Information Technology Mukesh Repswal said that the Secretariat Administration Department would act as the nodal department for implementing e-office in the Himachal Pradesh Secretariat and the Information Technology Department would provide technical and other assistance. He said that the Administrative Reforms Department has also started work on revising the Office Manual so that necessary provisions can be made in this regard.
