A “Capability Building and Soft Skills training for Distributors (NAV DISHA), in collaboration with Indane Divisional office, Shimla, for Indian Oil distributors was organised at Shoolini University Campus. The programme’s theme was “Adapting to Change and Dynamic Business Environment”.
Shoolini University Vice-Chancellor, Prof Atul Khosla, along with Mr Vineet Seth, Divisional LPG Head Sales, Indane Gas, inaugurated the programme and addressed the participants. Prof Khosla appreciated Indane Gas for carrying out a management development programme for its distributors. He also stressed on the need for more such programmes and increased collaboration between Academics and organisations for a better and more aware workforce.
The programme began with Yoga-Sound healing and Meditation by Dr Rohit Chobe, Assistant Professor, School of Yoga and Ancient Wisdom, followed by the Context setting of the programme by Professor Ashoo Khosla, Chief Learning Officer, Shoolini University. The session on “Implementing Change Management” was delivered by Professor Ashish Khosla, President of Innovation and Marketing, Shoolini University. Mr Pravin Khandpasole, CEO of Liquigas Power, had a session on LPG fuel conversion, which the distributors received and appreciated.
The session on Agile Leadership for Change Management by Ms Payal Khanna, Assistant Professor and Senior Coach, received a standing ovation from the participants and Leading the Change by Mr Ajay Khanna, Director, Student Success, Shoolini University, was well received. Tushar Ralhan, Manager (LPG-S), Baddi LSA, discussed MoU parameters for financial year 22-23 and highlighted the need for consumer-driven business. At the end of the programme, a performance-based activity, Goonj was delivered by Mr Ankur Bashar, Assistant Professor.
Winners of contests were given prizes by Mr Vineet Seth, Divisional LPG Head Sales. Students of Business School, Shoolini University; Abhay (B.Com), Anika (B.Com), Tenzin (BBA), Aryawrat (BBA), Chahat(BBA), Ange (BBA), Ashwani (BBA), Ashika (BBA), Ankit (B.Com) and Palak(B.Com) actively managed the registration process, assisting the participants.
