A bus of Himachal Path Parivahan Nigam (HRTC) met with a road accident in Kurali, Punjab. The bus was going from Jawali in Himachal Pradesh to Vrindavan in Uttar Pradesh. The accident happened around 6 am on Thursday, when a speeding truck hit the bus from behind. The collision was so strong that the bus came half out of the road and was badly damaged.
Some passengers on the bus have suffered minor injuries in the accident. Local police immediately reached the spot as soon as the incident was reported. Police immediately rushed the injured to a nearby hospital, where they were given first aid. Fortunately, no passenger suffered serious injuries.
The rear part of the bus is badly damaged, which shows how severe the collision was. After the accident, the truck driver fled from the spot, who is being searched by the police. The passengers on the bus said that they are all safe, but they were very scared by this incident. The HRTC team also reached the spot and alternative arrangements are being made for the passengers so that they can complete their journey. This accident once again draws attention to the increasing number of accidents on highways.
