Himachal Pradesh Government once again has a stored cyber crime police station in Mandi and Dharamshala range’s .
These Police Stations were closed amid after the Sukhu government had taken the decision to review all the decision taken by the Jairam government after April 2022.
The principal Secretary Of the state government has issued notification regarding this. Now there will be three police Stations in the state.
Out of these, cyber police station in South range is already in Shimla. Under this they will be Shimla Solan Sirmaur kannur and baddi cyber police station. Not range cyber police station will be Dharamshala Kangra Unna Chamba and Nurpur district. Similarly, the cyber police station in the middle range will be in Mandi.
Mandi Bilaspur Hamirpur Kullu and Hospital district will come under the middle range police station. The headquarter of these three police station will remain in Shimla under the state criminal investigation department.
The notification clarifies that the superintendent of police will act as the nodal agency in cyber crime cases. The superintendent of police will we concerned with monitor and supervising of the crime.
These cyber police station will also ensure use of latest technology hardwares softwares and trainings.
