Solan, March 14:
A serious road accident occurred near Kandaghat in Himachal Pradesh on Saturday when an uncontrolled car skidded off the road and plunged nearly 50 feet into a drain, leaving two youths critically injured.
According to initial information, the car suddenly went out of control while negotiating a stretch of road and fell deep into the drain. Locals rushed to the spot immediately after the accident and informed the police and emergency services.
The injured youths were rescued from the badly damaged vehicle and rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Their condition is reported to be serious.
Police reached the scene and have begun an investigation to ascertain the exact cause of the accident. Further details are awaited.
