Pravesh Kumar, the main accused in the brutal murder of 24-year-old Anshika, a resident of Vairian Panchayat in Jol sub-tehsil of Bangana subdivision in Una district, has confessed to his crime. The murder case shocked the entire area of Una district. The accused confessed to his crime during police remand.
During police interrogation, Pravesh Kumar stated that he was being pressured to marry, even though he did not want to. To escape, he had already hatched a conspiracy to eliminate Anshika. According to police, on the night of September 23rd, Pravesh called Anshika and murdered her. However, the police have not yet released all aspects of the case. The investigating officer states that the accused is being interrogated, and the entire incident will soon be revealed.

Superintendent of Police Amit Yadav stated that interrogation of both accused is ongoing. He added that the weapon used in the murder will soon be recovered through interrogation. Sanjeev Kumar is also being thoroughly interrogated to clarify his role, which will be revealed soon.
It is noteworthy that on the night of September 22nd, after killing Anshika by slitting her throat with a sharp-edged weapon, Army man Pravesh set her body on fire. Anshika’s half-burnt body was found under a culvert 500 meters from her home on the evening of September 23rd. In her complaint, Anshika’s mother had accused Pravesh and his uncle Sanjeev of murder.
