A shocking negligence of the Revenue Department has come to light in Himachal Pradesh, which has trapped a person in a strange legal mess. The land of the said person has disappeared from the revenue record i.e. Jamabandi, while the bank loan taken on the same land is still running.
This case of negligence of the Revenue Department has come to light in the Siohla Patwar Circle. Om Prakash, a resident of Bhatol-Jukhala village, said that when he went to the Patwari to get electricity meters installed in his shops, the Patwari clearly said that there is no land registered in his name. Om Prakash was shocked at this.
Om Prakash has submitted his complaint to SP Bilaspur. In the complaint, he has alleged that due to the alleged negligence of the Patwari and Kanungo, his land was removed from the Jamabandi. He told that his name was registered on Khasra number 169/8 in the Jamabandi of the year 2013-14 and a bank loan is also running on this land, but his name was removed from the Jamabandi of 2018-19 and 2023-24.
The victim alleged that now he is wandering to get the record of his own share of land. Till he does not get the copy of the Jamabandi, he cannot even get an electricity meter installed in his shops. Om Prakash has demanded a high-level investigation into the entire matter. DSP Headquarters Madan Dhiman, confirming the case, said that the complaint has been received and it has been sent to the police post Namhol for investigation. The situation will be clear only after the investigation.
