Legal Services Clinic was inaugurated today at District Sainik Welfare Board Solan under NALSA Veer Parivar Sahayata Yojana, 2025. It was inaugurated by Hon’ble Justice Gurmeet Singh Sandhawalia, Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court and Patron of Himachal Pradesh State Legal Services Authority through virtual medium.
The objective of the Legal Services Clinic is to provide legal aid to former soldiers, serving soldiers, family members of martyred soldiers and to make them aware of their rights.
Justice Vivek Singh Thakur, Judge, High Court and Executive Chairman, Himachal Pradesh State Legal Services Authority, along with other judges were present on the occasion of online launch.
On this occasion, District and Sessions Judge and Chairman of District Legal Services Authority Dr. Arvind Malhotra, Additional District and Sessions Judge Solan Abhay Mandiyal, Additional District and Sessions Judge Solan Vivek Khanal, Chief Judicial Magistrate Solan Divya Jyoti Patial, Secretary of District Legal Services Authority Solan Akanksha Dogra, Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Sonal Sharma, Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate R. Mehul Sharma, President of Bar Association Solan Abhishek Thakur, District Advocate Solan Sanjay Pandit, Deputy Director of District Sainik Board Colonel S.K. Agnihotri were present.
