Traffic diverted to alternate routes
Una, August 4. The vehicular movement on Ambehda-Dhamandri Road (km 3000 to 3/750 and 0/000 to 0/725) will remain closed from August 5 to September 2. During this period, traffic has been diverted to alternate routes. Deputy Commissioner Una Jatin Lal has issued orders in this regard under Section 115 and 116 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.
The Deputy Commissioner said that this order has been issued for quick and smooth repair and expansion works of Basal Puli to Nangal Salangdi Road (km 0/000 to 7/100) and Ambehad-Dhamandri Road (km 0/000 to 8/300). He said that for the movement of vehicles, the traffic has been diverted from the link road Dera Baba Rudru Ashram to Manohar Market Dhamandri. Also, during this period, the movement of light motor vehicles will remain on Dhamandri Bazaar (Panchayat Road) from the link road.
The Deputy Commissioner has directed the concerned officials to inform the public about the closure of the road and to put up boards in advance to give information about the change of route.
