In a bid to engage and mobilise the youth towards shaping the future of India, Jaypee University Of Information Technology organised the declamation contest, themed “VIKSIT BHARAT, SASHAKT BHARAT.” The event aimed at fostering a vision for a transformed India as it approaches its 100th year of independence.
The contest, held at CR-3 on the 14th of December 2023 at 10:00 AM, began with lamp lighting by JYC Faculty incharge Dr. Naveen Jaglan, Prof. Dr. Rakesh Kumar Bajajand coordinators of Literary and Debating Club, inviting students to contribute their ideas on economic growth, social progress, sustainability, and governance. The initiative encouraged participants to play an active role in envisioning and building a stronger, more developed India.
An enthusiastic turnout marked the event, with students showcasing their oratory skills and presenting compelling ideas for the development of the nation. Among the participants, Kislay held the 1st position in the declamation contest while Aditi and Anushree emerged as the winner of second and third position respectively,
impressing the judges with his insightful and impactful presentation on the theme “Viksit Bharat@2047”.
The university not only provided a platform for students to express their ideas but also extended an invitation for direct involvement in the nation-building process. Attendees were encouraged to share their ideas with the concerned authorities through the MyGov Portal. The process involved navigating to the Viksit Bharat
Consultation section, answering relevant questions using dropdown options, and providing a concise 3-5 line idea for Viksit Bharat@2047, highlighting their envisioned role or contribution.
This initiative aligns with the broader national goal of inclusive governance and harnessing the potential of the youth in shaping policies for a prosperous India. It serves as a testament to the university’s commitment to nurturing active citizenship and fostering a sense of responsibility among its students.
