ECE department organized one week Hand’s-on Workshop on “VLSI Design” at Jaypee University of Information Technology, Solan in collaboration with the Department of Technical Education, Vocational and Industrial Training, Government of Himachal Pradesh from March 04- 09, 2024. More than 80 participants from various districts of Himachal Pradesh attended this workshop. The resource persons in the workshop are all from the renowned organizations in the field of VLSI/Semiconductor as follows:

The resource persons discussed and demonstrated the current trends and future of VLSI/Semiconductors. Throughout the workshop, participants were engaged in hands-on exercises using industry-standard EDA tools for designing, simulating, and verifying digital circuits. They also had the opportunity to interact with industry experts, participate in discussions, and network with fellow participants. By the end of the workshop, attendees had a solid understanding of VLSI design principles and were equipped with practical skills to pursue further studies or careers in the field.
