The weather in Himachal Pradesh is going to change once again. After two days of sunshine, the western disturbance is going to become active, which may cause rain and snowfall in five districts. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in Kullu, Chamba, Kangra, Kinnaur, and Lahaul Spiti on 3 and 4 April. However, the weather will remain clear in other parts. On Wednesday also, the weather remained clear across the state, including Shimla, due to which an increase in temperature is also being recorded.
Meteorologist Sandeep Kumar said, “A new western disturbance may affect the western Himalayan region from April 3. Due to its effect, light rain and snowfall may occur at one or two places in Chamba, Kangra, Kullu, Lahaul-Spiti, and Kinnaur districts of Himachal Pradesh. However, the weather of the state is likely to remain generally dry for the rest of the week. Meanwhile, the minimum and maximum temperatures may gradually increase by 2-3 degrees Celsius in many parts of the state during the next 3–4 days.”
In Himachal Pradesh, the weather has remained clear for the past week, due to which the temperature in the state has also started rising. The mercury has started rising the most in Una in the state. The maximum temperature recorded was 34.0 in Una, 33.1 in Dhaula Kuan, 30.8 in Sundernagar, 30.6 in Kangra, 30.0 in Bhuntar, 29.6 in Mandi, 29.2 in Nahan, 29.0 degrees Celsius in Solan, 27.6 degrees Celsius in Chamba, 27.0 degrees Celsius in Dharamsala, 23.6 degrees Celsius in Manali, 23.0 degrees Celsius in Shimla, 18.6 degrees Celsius in Kalpa and 10.9 degrees Celsius in Keylong.
