Himachal Pradesh has received 33 percent less rainfall than normal in March 2025. From 1 to 31 March, 113.4 mm of rainfall was considered normal in the state, but in reality only 75.6 mm of rain fell. Bilaspur received 38 percent less rainfall than normal, Chamba 58, Hamirpur 39, Kangra 40, Kinnaur 40, Lahaul-Spiti 43, Shimla 2, Sirmour 29, Solan 43, and Una received 62 percent less rainfall. Whereas Kullu received 17 percent more rainfall than normal and Mandi 5 percent more.

However, on April 3, there may be light rain and snowfall at some places in Chamba, Kullu, Kangra, Lahaul-Spiti, and Kinnaur districts. At the same time, the minimum temperature is likely to gradually increase by 2-4 degrees Celsius in many parts of the state during the next 3-4 days.
