Shimla: On 19th and 20th December, 2025, the meetings of the Welfare Committee were organized in the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Secretariat under the chairmanship of the Chairman of the Committee, Vinod Kumar, in which Honorable members namely, Mr. Randhir Sharma, Ram Kumar, Reena Kashyap, Chandra Shekhar, Sudarshan Singh Bablu and Vinod Sultanpuri participated.
In these meetings the committee discussed the Scheduled Caste Development Programme (SCDP) Under this, the departmental replies received regarding the details of budget/expenditure allocated to various departments by the State Government from the financial year 2020-21 to 2024-25 were reviewed and after review, with the aim of obtaining additional information, it was decided to take oral evidence of Additional Chief Secretary (Social Justice and Empowerment), Government of Himachal Pradesh in the meeting of January, 2026. Apart from this, the committee also decided to go on a study tour to states outside the state in January, 2026.
