A high-voltage drama was witnessed on Friday evening at Himachal Pradesh’s largest maternal and child hospital, KNH. A woman from Nihari in Mandi district claimed to have given birth to twins and made sensational allegations against the hospital of making the children disappear. After this, there was a stir in the hospital, and there was a lot of controversy on the spot. The police reached the spot and pacified the matter, but when the matter was fully investigated, the matter turned out to be something else.
Actually, the woman had made up a false story of the birth of twins. In this entire episode, the woman’s husband, mother-in-law, sister, and brother-in-law all supported her, but when the investigation was done, it was found that the woman was suffering from infertility and she and her husband had also been undergoing treatment for a long time. The woman’s pregnancy report is also negative. The woman had made up a false story of the birth of children. The lie has also been exposed in the CCTV footage, but even after this, neither the woman nor her family members were ready to believe this.
The hospital rejected the allegations.
The hospital administration completely denied the allegations. KNH Hospital’s MS SS Negi said that ‘the woman making the allegations is suffering from infertility. She has been treated for this in the hospital for two years. The woman is under stress, and many times in such cases women start thinking that they are pregnant. The woman is also suffering from the same disease, but the family members also supported the woman in her lie instead of telling the truth; this is quite surprising. An attempt has been made to defame the image of the hospital. The hospital administration has lodged a complaint with the police against this. The woman’s pregnancy test has been done in KNH as well, which has come out negative. The woman’s test has also been done in DDU.’ At the same time, after watching the CCTV footage and checking the facts, the police have taken the woman and her husband into custody for questioning.
