Bahra University marked International Women’s Day with a vibrant celebration, honoring the achievements and contributions of women in various fields. The event, attended by students, faculty, and distinguished guests, underscored the importance of gender equality and women’s empowerment.
The celebration featured cultural events, games, and a lot of activities, and all shared their experiences, encouraging young minds to break barriers and pursue their dreams fearlessly.
Chancellor Bhara University, Mr.Gurvinder Singh Bahra, delivered a message and emphasized the university’s commitment to fostering an inclusive and empowering environment for women. Registrar Bahra University, Vineet Kumar retd. IAS added, “At Bahra University, we believe in nurturing leadership, innovation, and equal opportunities for all. Women’s Day is not just about celebration but also about reaffirming our dedication to gender equality.”. Various competitions, including debates, essay writing, and poster-making on women’s empowerment, engaged students in meaningful discussions.
The event concluded with a pledge to continue working towards a more inclusive society where women can thrive in every sphere of life. Bahra University remains committed to supporting initiatives that promote education, leadership, and empowerment for women.
